Easter is the main feast of the Orthodox calendar. Many moving days of the church year are calculated from the date of Easter: the preparatory weeks, the Great Lent, Lazarus's Saturday, the Lord's entry into Jerusalem, the Ascension, the Trinity and other dates. The Orthodox Easter on the site is calculated according to the Julian paschal calendar and then translated into a civil date of the new style.
